While surfing the vastness of the internet I came across a video about a Eternal Pencil. I think this is cool and different so i figured i will try to make my own design.
What is Eternal Pencil?
Eternal pencil is Pencil with tip made of composite material. It writes like normal pencil and lasts very long. These tips can be bought separately. There are cheaper version like THIS ONE. wich I have used. Of course you can choose expensive tips but i will let you do the search. I gave one Pencil to my Daughter to write with it in school. It lasted about two weeks before we needed to change it.
I bought multipe versions of tips. Some all black, some with metal thread and they all will fit design. So now after meassuring tips and threads I threw myselve into it right away because 3D Design is totally my gig. Goal was to create something new, attractive, different, and hard to make with traditional manufacturing.
For this application, I wanted to use high-resolution resin 3D printer.
So, what is this all about?
Everyone wants to make an impressive product that would attract attention everywhere, and at the same time my plan was to use it for the presentation of my company. I think I succeeded in that! Let me show you how i did it:

So design is made in Solidworks and very quickly i had a finished first model. This is Rev2. Rev.1 was not so comfortable to hold in the hand so some adjustements were necessary.
Of course this beautiful pencil body needs to be prepared for printing. My Slicing choice is Lychee. Supports are only on bottom so I don’t need to spend a lot time on cleaning, and it works perfectly!
